Is Vasectomy For me?
Vasectomy is designed for men who are sure they won't want to have additional children. Vasectomies can be reversed in some cases, but in many cases it cannot. Men who are thinking about reversibility before they even having a vasectomy should almost certainly wait to have the procedure until they are sure a vasectomy is right for them.
Vasectomy might be right for you if you and your partner:
Don't want to have any more children.
Are sure that you won't want to have any children in the future.
Agree with your partner on the decision to not have more children.
Are comfortable in your relationship and know you will not want children with a future spouse.
Are old enough to know what you want for the rest of your life.
Are tired of existing forms of birth control that are burdensome or don't work for you.
